Solstrom: Healing Wind

An RP by and me; after watching several episodes of Cirque du Soleil's TV show, Solstrom, we came up with the fun idea of Role-Playing/Writing our own Solstrom episodes, so here we are !!!

Location: Epsilon Observatory.   Time: 4:00 GMT .   Date: March 24th

Narrator: March 24th, 2013...ten years exactly to the day I first discovered the strange beings of the sun...  OH!  So sorry, Fogus Punch at your service...eminent astronomer and inventor...or so I wished.  I thought my discovering the sun beings so long ago would fulfill my dreams of making a great discovery...  But alas, it would appear I was the only one who could properly see them...no one believed me, and those who I personally witnessed perform astounding feats thanks to the creatures' "solar wind" merely stated they only experienced a "flight of fantasy".  Embarrassed and ignored, I have resigned myself to the observatory once more to study the stars.

This particular morning, the sun rose in it's usual irritating way to interrupt my work once more.  I did notice its similarity to the way it rose ten years ago...but I paid it no mind.  After spending all night charting the Omega Nebula, I was ready for bed....

But I had just fallen asleep when my personal telescope's alarm went off...AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Rising with my usual enthusiasm, I went over to see what little movement in the galaxy had the NERVE to wake me up.  But as I looked through the telescope at 6:34 GMT, nothing could prepare me (again) for what I was about to see!!!!  As a solar wind came through and inspired me to dance around my observatory like a clown, I knew one thing: the sun beings had returned!!!!!

Looking in the distance, I saw a new group emerge from their strange tent space ship...some were beings I recognized, others I did not.  This time around, I would not be tracking these beings from the sun for fame or fortune, but out of respect and desire to truly uncover the mystery behind their Solar Wind...

(From the silhouetted crowd, a figure somersaults into view...a young man dressed in a suit and hat of orange, white, blue, and sky blue stripes.  With a sly grin, he waves his hands, and Solar Wind flies around him...)

Location: A Hospital in New York City...

Fogus: Ahh...a hospital...interesting new location this time...  Seems the wards are full of people recovering.  My sensors indicate one of the creatures is here - oh...?  What is this?

(In one room, a male nurse checks on the patient inside...a young woman diagnosed with a bad heart, who stares out the window in a sad daze.  The nurse gives her a reassuring pat on the shoulder...drawing her attention...and they smile tenderly at each other.)

Fogus: Aww...young love...nice guy...

(However, the moment is broken as a strict doctor rudely enters, sending the nurse away while giving the patient some rather negative comments about how her condition is deteriorating...)

Fogus: Sheesh, make her feel worse why don't you?

(Just from looking at the other patients, it's evident that this doctor is unpopular due to his rather negative attitude towards them.  Just then, an elevator opens, and amongst the crowd filing out, the Sun Being...the Trickster...emerges)

Fogus: Ah, our creature has appeared...can he help these poor people heal from the things that ail them so...?
